Troms\u00f8, often called the “Paris of the North”, is a vibrant city located 300 km above the Arctic Circle in Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Famous explorers such as Roald Amundsen (1872-1928) and Umberto Nobile (1885-1978) used Troms\u00f8 as a base for their polar adventures. Amundsen, the first to reach the South Pole, and Nobile, known for his airship expeditions, left an indelible mark on the city’s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During World War II, Troms\u00f8 played a significant role as the last stronghold of the German battleship Tirpitz, which was sunk by Allied forces in 1944.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From May 21 to July 21, the city experiences the midnight sun, where the sun never sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
